course
is taught in Fribourg and Geneva, Switzerland, and Strasbourg, France (see map and pictures below). The language of instruction is English. For more information

Units:
This course is offered through the American College Program at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. U.S. participants can take the course FOR CREDIT and receive 9 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) units, the equivalent of 4 to 5 U.S. units. Clarify all questions regarding credit recognition with your home institution.
Costs: $2,300 (course fees, covering all instruction, guest speakers, transportation, and site visits); $1,200 (27 days room & board; note that you can opt out of the $300 meal plan and/or the $900 dorm accommodation).
Note: The costs for air travel are not included in the course price.
Financial Aid: Financial aid students should work with their home institution to obtain support. In addition, the American College Program offers a $200 discount for students who receive financial aid at their home institution.
Essay Contest: The very best letters of application (see "Procedure for admission"), explaining how this course will serve an applicant's career goals, will be awarded a prize of $100 to $500.
